Halloween Contest Photos 2

A nicely decorated home in Burholme
Earlier this week, we asked you to send us your Halloween photos – old, new, scary, silly – and we got way more photos than expected.
We have more than three dozen photos from all over the Northeast, featuring your funniest costumes, most creative jack-o-lanterns and over-the-top decorations.

A 20-ft skeleton watches over the 3300-block of Tudor St. in Mayfair. Submitted by his owner, Donny.
Congratulations to Mayfair’s Donny Smith, our grand prize winner! Along with several photos of his funny-faced jack-o-lanterns, Smith also submitted photos of his 20-foot skeleton (pictured at right), which he made from scratch.
Thanks to everyone who participated – our editors will be in touch to send you your prizes.
You can see all the photos in our Halloween slideshow, and be sure to pay close attention to spot NEast Philly staffers.

This was awesome! My favorite from the slideshow is this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/neastmag/4057293494/
What a great contest!
Hey Thanks a LOT for the big win. I had a lot of fun making the skeleton. A win like this not only proves to me that it was worth it, but also inspires me to try and do something better next year.
Keep up the good work NEast !!
BTW: Thanks for your compliment on my pumpkin Chris. That too was a challenge, but carving all of those pumpkins was a lot of fun.
Thanks again,
Donny
