Unlike where in American football when the ball goes out of bounds the clock stops, in soccer when the ball goes out of bounds it is substituted for very quickly with another ball; play continues and the clock continues to run. At soccer games ball retrievers roam both sidelines, keeping a ball or two at the ready for substitutions then retrieving the balls that go out of bounds. Monday night during the game between Washington and Bartram two young ladies, (L-R) Anna Banushi and Vanessa Sousa, students at Washington, covered the 100+ yards of one sideline. You should see Anna run.

Slightly damp as you can see after being doused by his players following their 2-0 win over Bartram, Washington's boys soccer head coach Chris Reid tells reporters he's proud of all his players. He gave special praise to junior Chea Fineboy, who scored the two Washington goals but also praised those who provided assists. Humbly Coach Reid acknowledged that this being his first year as head coach he'd inherited a strong team from his predecessor.
