The Historical Society of Frankford housed a presentation of the history of the Globe Dye Company on Tuesday. The event, hosted by Torben Jenk, founder of Workshop of the World, was titled “Local Color” – Five Generations of GLOBE DYE COMPANY (1965-2005).

After an introduction about the founding generations of the Greenwood and Bault families, Jenk presented a slideshow of information about the history of Globe Dye and its monthly publication, “Local Color,” which, through various visuals, was a record of the social traditions of Frankford.
