A car slammed into Renzi’s Pizzeria overnight, causing six people to be evacuated from nearby apartments.

The driver of the vehicle lost control just before 2.am. and slammed into Renzi’s on the corner of Battersby Street and Harbison Avenue in Mayfair. Police were able to catch up with the vehicle after fleeing, and took the driver into custody.

Three adults and three children were removed from the neighboring apartments while L&I inspect the damage.
