UPDATE — (10:20p.m. Aug. 3) — Ron Larkin, 38, surrendered to police Monday. Larkin is the boyfriend of 54-year-old Dorothy Flora, who shot Flor and her son after a domestic dispute.

UPDATE — (3:50p.m. Aug. 2,) — The Philadelphia Inquirer has confirmed the pair was mother and son, Dorothy Flora and Shane Ferguson. The suspect has not yet been found.

Police are investigating a double murder in Frankford, which they believe was prompted by a domestic dispute.

A 54-year-old woman and 26-year-old man, found dead by a friend of the female victim, died of multiple gunshot wounds Saturday night on the 4600-block of Leiper Street.

The victims’ names and relation have not been released, as police are still investigating the crime. Police are searching for the suspect, whom reports say they authorities are familiar with, and who may be a second man involved with the deceased pair.

    People are delusional about Frankford being a viable community for shopping, artistic, or ethnic diversity. It’s a crime-ridden ghetto, a mixture of those poor enough to make getting out impossible, and those criminal predators who make remaining there a treacherous hell for those trapped there.
