The National Park Service is hosting its eleventh annual National Historic Landmark Photo Contest.

We’ve got an abundance of historic landmarks in our area, so grab your camera and start shooting. You can enter up to 10 photos — one per landmark.

You can enter the contest, which ends Sept. 10, by uploading your photos to the Flickr Group, and remember to tag your photos with 2010nhlphotocontest. Professional photographers who’d like to participate can e-mail (nhl_photo [at] nps.gov) questions about ownership rights.
