Missing puppy in Somerton 1

Aug20
Shy the puppy went missing in Somerton.

Shy the puppy went missing in Somerton Wednesday.

We received the below information from a reader, and wanted to share with everyone. If you’ve seen Shy the puppy around, please contact her owner!

My granddaughter, Jenn, lost her 7 month old Husky/Shepherd mix puppy that she just went to North Carolina to rescue on Sunday.

Shy, the puppy, came from an abusive background and is very nervous and she somehow bolted out the door yesterday. We spent yesterday and last night looking through the woods in that area, but to no avail. Shy does not come yet when called, so this makes it very difficult. Shy is a Husky/Shepherd mix. She weighs 28 pounds.

We put out 200 posters so far. Any advice as what we can do next? She was last seen at Bustleton and Philmont. If you know anyone who lives in that area, please, pass this on.

Anyone with information can e-mail Kathy at kathyba74 [at] aol.com (subject line: Lost Puppy) or call 215-796-1091

If you haven’t put signs up in the Trevose area, I recommend doing so. If Shy travelled the train tracks from Somerton, that would be a possible point for her to have emerged.
Also, check with the Women’s Humane Society in Bensalem in case Shy has been turned in to them.
