Authorities are trying to identify a man who was severely beaten Saturday.

The man was reportedly beaten in the parking lot of Tower Plaza [map] around 7:45 a.m. Saturday. He is a Hispanic male, approximately 30 years old and about 5’8″. He has a husky build, light complexion and black spiked hair, and was wearing jeans and cowboy boots when he was attacked. His name might be Javier.

The victim was rushed into surgery at Einstein Medical Center after hitting his head on the ground. The suspect, described as a Hispanic male, was seen running from the scene with other men.

    Everyone: The map should link to 4600 E. Roosevelt Blvd, which is just south of Langdon Street. However, Google Maps automatically redirects the link to 4600 W. Roosevelt Blvd, which is near Welsh Road.

    Sorry for the confusion!
