The intersection of Rising Sun and Adams avenues is now equipped with a red light camera.

As part of the city’s ongoing crackdown on red light-runners, two more red light cameras have been installed — one in Roxborough, the other at Rising Sun and Adams avenues.

The cameras went up today, with a 60-day warning period for violators. Beginning Friday, Nov. 12, being caught on camera will result in $100 ticket mailed to your home (with photographic evidence).

Since the red light camera program came to the city in 2005, the Philadelphia Parking Authority has installed more than a dozen, with the initial three at the Red Lion, Grant and Cottman intersections of Roosevelt Boulevard.
