Friday — According to a report from West Frankford Town Watch, a woman was shot on the 4200-block of Kensington Avenue near Frankford Avenue just before midnight.  Three male suspects were taken into custody. The woman, whom police believe was not the intended target, is in stable condition. The Town Watch also reports a club has opened on the 4200-block of Kensington Avenue in the former Art Holiday theater.

– The Philadelphia Firefighters Union settled on a new contract, which results in a 9 percent pay increase over the next two years.
