Tacony woman found dead in Kensington 1

Police have identified the woman whose body was found in a Kensington home on Christmas Eve.
Crystal Dawejko, 25, of Tacony, was discovered dead around 3 p.m. Friday, but has been ruled out as a victim of the Kensington Strangler. Her cause of death is pending toxicology reports. Police records show Dawejko has several arrests and has spent time in jail.
Is the Kensington Strangler just causing more attention to the murders already happening in that neighborhood or has there really been a troubling spike?
Either way, what terrible news. I wish Dawejko’s family all the best, as I do with the other victims.
