REALLY?? A group of 35 BAR OWNERS who apparently understand that THEY need to close down at 2 am but didn’t have a clue that there were rules for AFTER 2?
These afterhours clubs are bad news. If they just want to hang together, how about rotating between each other’s family rooms? 35 peeps times Fri and Sat times 52 weeks would mean no one would have to host more than 3 times a year.
Take the noise and parking home, not to other people’s neighborhoods.
This city needs to take protecting where people sleep much more seriously. Why is the Councilwoman even THINKING of working with people who have already proven that laws and rules aren’t for them??

If this quote is accurate she is mistaken. Flyers for the club were found on cars on Church Street and vicinity in early December, well within the 3 month period.

The more Ms Gonzalez spoke, the less I believed what she was saying. At one point, she made it seem like the sole purpose of the “club” was to run a church, do outreach and meet with business owners to make Frankford a better place. Really???!!! The only meeting times for this “business group” would be Fri and Sat nights from 2:00-4:00am??? Really???!!! If you believe that, then you’ll believe that the big guy in the video with the Eagles jacket needs a haircut.
