A Montgomery County man was killed yesterday after being struck by a freight train traveling near Krewstown Road. The Jenkintown resident was pronounced dead at the scene not long after 7 p.m.Reports indicate the man, 39,  was walking along the track near the 8800-block of Krewstown Road when the train, carrying 34 cars of freight, struck him. The train was making its way from Virginia to New York. The victim’s identity will not be released until his family has been notified.
