Police are trying to determine what caused a single-car accident early Saturday morning on Woodhaven Road.

Around 1 a.m., the driver reportedly lost control of his minivan while heading east on Woodhaven Road and hit a utility pole near Knights Road before rolling over. The driver was thrown from the vehicle and taken to Jefferson University hospital for treatment. He is in critical condition.
