Meet Malcom! (A14320176) Malcolm is a 6- to 12-month-old pit bull terrier mix who was found as a stray, wandering the streets of Philly all by himself. His family never came to claim him so now he’s waiting for a foster or forever home.

Malcolm has a mild case of mange from living on the streets. He is being treated at the shelter, but he would recover much faster in a home. Malcolm is a goofy, happy boy and loves to play with other dogs and hang out with people.

He has no issues with basic or advanced handling and no issues with food. He was a little shy when he met other dogs here at the shelter, but after a few minutes he opened up and was loose and friendly with them! Have a dog at home? These animals are located at Philadelphia’s animal control shelter, ACCT. They need immediate adoption or foster care. ACCT is located at 111 W Hunting Park Ave and is open 365 days a year.
