You’re right. The Mayfair Town Watch worked alongside the Tacony/Holmesburg Town Watch on this matter, but MTW President Milt Martelack acknowledged last night that Toledo does actually live outside the MTW boundaries. Mayfair and Holmesburg Civic leaders met in August to agree on civic boundaries, but the debate about whether Sheffield or Cottman is the neighborhood boundary continues among residents. We’ve been reporting this story as Mayfair because of the heavy involvement of the Mayfair Town Watch, and Toledo’s representation of himself as a MTW member.
