Let’s discuss: Introducing our new commenting system 5

Sep4

Welcome back from the holiday weekend, and welcome to NEast Philly’s new commenting system.

We’re using “Disqus,” a popular discussion tool that you might recognize from other sites. The purpose of the tool and our goal is simple: foster respectful discussions and allow readers to use their platform of choice to comment.

From now on, you’ll be be able to comment on all NEast Philly stories by simply entering a username and password, or linking our new system with your Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or Disqus account.

Our comment policy is exactly the same, we’re just making it easier for you to participate in the discussion by logging in with your preferred network.

Does this use the funny letters to test your humanity? I flunk that half of the time!

  • sacmcdonald

No funny letters – just a more seamless system!

Asked and answered! No decoding to comment. Forgot to mention I am only half human….

  • Nobody.

All we had to do before was write a message. Now you want a log in. How is that easier?

  • sacmcdonald

You don’t need to log in every time, just the first. Or you can use you Facebook or some other social network account you already use and comment that way.
