Washington High School senior Justin Moody  is making a jump from the Public League to the All-American Semper Fidelis game in January.

The lineman, who hails from Germantown, will head to Los Angeles with three other Philadelphia players early next year. Cheerleaders, teammates and the Washington marching band celebrated with Moody last week  as Pa. Rep. Brendan Boyle, D-170th, presented him with a citation. Moody also tried on his jersey.

More photos from Moodys presentation are below.

The Inquirer reports Moody will attend either Temple, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Syracuse or California next Fall.

The talent that has come from Washington High School is outstanding. Currently, there are 2 players in the NFL. Coach Cohen molds great players but more importantly great people. It is shocking that he is not the NE Hall of Fame.
