The School District of Philadelphia announced yesterday it plans to add more than 2,000 seats to 19 of its best-performing schools. Two of those schools are in the Northeast.

Fox Chase School and the Arts Academy at Rush will add 30 and 98 seats, respectively, come September. They’re among the district schools that have a 3 or better on the district’s 10-point School Performance Index scale. continue reading »
