The FBI and police in the 7th District are searching for two men wanted for a Bustleton bank robbery in August. The suspects are believed to be the same two who robbed a Flourtown bank four days later.
On Aug. 20, the armed suspects demanded money from a teller at the TD Bank branch at 9996 Haldeman Ave. The teller cooperated and the suspects fled.

Officers in the 15th District were busy yesterday with two evening crimes in Mayfair and Frankford.
At 6 p.m. officers responded to a robbery report at the First Republic Bank at Frankford at Cottman. Authorities are looking for a white male about 5’8″ with a thin build who was wearing a plaid shirt. The suspect reportedly handed a teller a demand note and fled on foot with $1,500. continue reading »

Three men were arrested Thursday after robbing a bank on the 2200-block of Cottman Avenue near Horrocks Street.
According to reports, the men donned masks to rob a PNC branch around 1 p.m., and fled with the money. Police chased the suspects and arrested them about 10 minutes later on the 7200-block of Oakland Street.
The money and at least one gun were recovered.

Saturday – The FBI is searching for Omar Roane, a prisoner who broke free Friday afternoon in Mayfair. Roane and two other prisoners in a police van broke out the back door around 2:30 p.m. Friday when the vehicle was stopped at Cottman and Frankford avenues.
Police apprehended the two other suspects, but Roane, 22, is still on the loose. His rap sheet includes the 2009 murder of a 17-year-old, for which Roane has a Sept. 1 court date. The van was on its way to Holmesburg’s Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility when Roane and the others escaped. continue reading »

The man, who did not disguise his face during the robbery, threatened a teller at the bank when he walked in around 2:30 p.m. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect fled on foot. continue reading »

UPDATE (Feb. 24) — The suspect has been identified as 39-year-old Donald Brown. Brown has multiple tattoos on his arms and chest, and spends a lot of time around Kensington Avenue near Somerset Street.
The FBI is searching for a bank robber, whom they believe is responsible for robberies in Mayfair and Bucks County.
The suspect robbed the Wachovia branch at 6420 Frankford Ave. Saturday morning just before 9:30. He passed a note to the teller, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. He did the same yesterday morning around 10:30 a.m. at a Wachovia branch in Feasterville. continue reading »

As previously reported on NEast Philly, William Gill, 33, robbed a TD Bank at 3930 Woodhaven Rd. on Jan. 19. Since then, the FBI has figured out more details about Gill, including that he was involved in other crimes such as other bank robberies, stealing a van and stabbing two people. After fleeing the scene of the stabbing, Gill was heard saying that he “Would not be taken alive by cops,” according to authorities.
Despite this claim, reports have said that Gill has been arrested in Fort Lauderdale, Fl., for drug possession under the name of Michael Gill. Gill’s last known residence was at the 5000-block of Homestead Street.

Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a bank at Knights and Woodhaven roads yesterday afternoon, after he first attempted to rob a bank in Fishtown.
