Philadelphia Police and the FBI are on the hunt for a man suspected of robbing two Northeast banks March 20.
At 10:08 a.m., a man entered the Bank of America at 6425 Rising Sun Ave. and gave the teller a threatening note. He fled without cash, but at 10:43 a.m., entered the Citizens Bank at 7327 Frankford Ave. and was able to get an undisclosed amount of cash. He fled south on Frankford Avenue. continue reading »

Philadelphia Police and the FBI are looking for the man who robbed a Citizens Bank branch Wednesday just one block from the 8th District headquarters.
The suspect used a handgun to demand cash from a teller at the branch on the 3200-block of Red Lion Road. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Anyone with information about the 30-year-old white male is asked to submit at tip online, call 215-686-TIPS (8477) or text 773847.

The tire slashings in Mayfair aren’t over. After a quiet spell, tires on 10 cars on the 4200-block of Aldine Street were slashed early Monday morning. The slashings began last fall, and thus far, the only arrest has been for what appears to be an isolated incident [CBS3].

The suspect took off on foot after handing the teller a threatening note around 3 p.m. He is described as white, 40 to 45 years old, 180lbs. and clean-shaven with a reddish, ruddy complexion. He was last seen wearing a black zip-up hoodie. continue reading »

The FBI and police in the 7th District are searching for two men wanted for a Bustleton bank robbery in August. The suspects are believed to be the same two who robbed a Flourtown bank four days later.
On Aug. 20, the armed suspects demanded money from a teller at the TD Bank branch at 9996 Haldeman Ave. The teller cooperated and the suspects fled.
