Meet OREO (A16277670). He is one awesome cat! Oreo is a 2-year-old black and white tuxedo boy, and is a pretty big guy too, at almost 15 pounds!

Hi, I’m Princess and I sit all day in this tower wondering when my prince will come.

I guess I’m a little self-conscious because of this big black spot on my nose, but people around me call it a “beauty mark.”

I had a prince at one point, but he got really sick. He said to me that he didn’t want to take me to this scary place, but he couldn’t care for me the way he once did. Savanne is a white tabby who is about 1.5 years old. This pretty girl is ready to go – she is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

Luckily, the family was brought to the shelter, where Mommi continued to tend carefully to her young. She took such great care of her kittens that they grew big and strong, and old enough to be on their own. continue reading »

This Sassy but sweet girl is looking for her second shot at a forever family!

She thought she found it her first time in the shelter, only to be returned a year later for supposedly scratching a child while playing. While the scratch was likely an accident, we wouldn’t blame Sassy for being a bit touchy. LACEY (A15616608) Lovely calico girl Lacey was surrendered to the shelter due to her owner’s health problems.

It seems that Lacey wasn’t in the best of shape either, as she arrived quite overweight and completely matted! Luckily, Lacey received a glam haircut by the shelter, and is now tressed to impress!

Upon arrival, Lacey seemed to be a very shy girl- for about a minute! It took less than 60 seconds for Lacey to melt into a volunteer’s hands, purring and rolling around in happiness! continue reading »

UPDATE: Peony has been adopted!

Hello! My name is Peony. Yes, like the flower.

I am a beautiful young cat, and I hear that the weather is getting nice, and the days are getting longer, and that a lot of my cat friends are living in a home with big windows to sunbathe in. I hear that their human families are starting to open the windows so they can smell the sweet cut grass, the lovely Spring flowers, and watch the birds and the butterflies fly about. Man, would I LOVE to do those things!

But unfortunately, I am currently living in the shelter. You see, I lived with my family for most of my life – more than two years. They said many nice things about me because I am a very nice girl, after all. I love everyone – men, women, children.
