A teenager was stabbed Wednesday night in the woods in Parkwood. The 17-year-old was taken to Aria-Health Torresdale with multiple stab wounds after the incident occurred near Medford and Vinton roads in Poquessing Park. [Daily News].

Robert J. Wilkins, one of Philadelphia’s deputy fire chiefs, has been suspended with intent to dismiss after failing to report to authorities the charges he pleaded guilty to last month involving an incident with his wife. Wilkins, of Rhawnhurst, was not charged in 2010 when he shot an intruder in his home [Inquirer].
The family of a teenage boy struck by a hit-and-run driver in Somerton is seeking justice. The Montgomery County teen was struck Friday night on the 200-block of Tomlinson Road and has body and brain injuries. A 10,100 reward is being offered for information leading authorities to the driver [Fox29].

Two teenage boys were injured Friday night during a hit-and-run in Somerton. The 15-year-old was skateboarding on the 200-block of Tomlinson Road when the driver of a minivan struck him and fled [NBC10].
Several people were injured Saturday night in a car crash on the 5200-block of Torresdale Avenue. Police are still investigating the three-vehicle crash that sent five people to the hospital [Action News].
More vehicles in the Northeast have been vandalized. The tires on a car on the 3500-block of Decatur Street in Holmesburg were slashed Sunday evening [CBS3].

Authorities are still looking for the driver who hit a pedestrian last night in Bustleton.
A woman was struck by a car around 5 p.m. on the 9900-block of Bustleton Avenue near Norwalk Road, and the driver took off. The woman is expected to recover, but a description of the car that hit her hasn’t been released.

Friends and family of Theresa Drobish, who went by Terri to those close to her, are still reeling from her untimely death in late September. Drobish was walking with her young son Alexander on the southbound sidewalk of Roosevelt Boulevard near Strahle Street when she was struck by a Toyota Camry that had been forced off the road by a Ryder truck, which drove off after the accident and never stopped.
“It’s such a tragedy,” said Tina Burke, Drobish’s instructor and adviser at the Omega Institute in New Jersey. “Terri always had a smile on her face and overcame many obstacles to get to where she was. She was an excellent student, always going above and beyond.”
Drobish had finished her schooling to become a surgical technologist and had just completed her externship at Wills Eye Surgery, which is right across the street from where the accident occurred. She had been enjoying the sunny weather with her son earlier that day at Pennypack Park before heading to her workplace for her last evaluation. Update - Police have arrested and charged a 27-year-old suspect. Angel Roque is charged with vehicular homicide, among other charges, after he was found out when he tried to report his truck stolen to allegedly cover up his crime. Roque lives in Wissinoming, where the truck was also found.

Friday – Police are looking for a Lincoln Town Car involved in a hit-and-run accident that left a 4-year-old boy in the hospital. The driver struck the boy around 8 a.m. as the boy ran out between cars on the 1600-block of Pratt Street while walking with his father. The driver fled the scene in what may be a limo car. The boy suffered jaw and facial injuries and was in critical condition. continue reading »

Reports indicate the man was struck once on the 8500-block of Frankford Avenue, and struck again as two pedestrians were trying to help him.
