A man was shot early Wednesday morning in Holmesburg, sending him to Aria Health-Torresdale in unknown condition. The shooting happened on the 8000-block of Ditman Street across the street from the Holmesburg Rec Center [CBS3].
Around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, a teenager in Castor Gardens told authorities she’d been sexually assaulted by two males. Police are still investigating the incident that happened on the 1400-block of Fanshawe Street to determine the accuracy of the report [CBS3].
Shortly after, around 4 p.m., a motorcyclist was transported to the hospital following a crash with another vehicle at Levick and Everett streets in Castor Gardens [6ABC].
An early evening crash in Torresdale took the life of a motorcycle driver. A 40-year-old man was riding through the neighborhood Tuesday night and lost control on the 3900-block of Stevenson Lane. He was transported to nearby Aria Health-Torresdale around 7 p.m., where he was pronounced dead. He was not wearing a helmet.
A Tacony man died Sunday night after losing control of his motorcycle.
The 50-year-old lost control of the vehicle at State Road and Unruh Avenue around 8p.m., causing him to crash into a tree. No other injuries were reported, and it’s unclear if the man was wearing a helmet.
The driver of a motorcycle died yesterday as a result of a collision in Fox Chase.
Reports said the motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on Rhawn Street near Ripley Street around 8:30 a.m. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s unclear if the driver of the pickup was injured.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
Details are still unfolding in the Wednesday night crash involving a motorcyclist and two police cruisers.
Reports say police officers came across a motorcycle that fit the description of a reported bike. The driver lost control as police moved in, and crashed into two cruisers at Cottman Avenue and Erdrick Street around 10 p.m.
The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with a head injury. It has not been disclosed whether the bike is the same one police were initially searching for.
A Tacony man was injured early this morning when he crashed his motorcycle into a utility pole. The accident happened around 1:45 this morning on Milnor Street near Princeton Avenue.
The biker, 30, is in critical condition at the hospital as a result of sever head injuries. Police said the man was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

BREAKING: A man in his late 30s is dead after a motorcycle accident near Crestmont Farms.
Around 8:10 p.m., the driver crashed his bike into another vehicle at Knights and Red Lion roads. He was taken to Aria Health’s nearby Frankford-Torresdale branch, where he was pronounced dead.
No other injuries were reported, but the driver of the bike was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. His identity has not be released.
