A police officer shot a suspect on the 4300-block of Clould Street in Frankford early yesterday morning.
When officers arrived at the scene in response to a domestic call involving a 29-year-old man. The officer fired his weapon when the situation became physical, hitting the suspect in the shoulder.
The suspect, whose name has not been released, was treated and is in stable condition.

Here’s a list of what happened around the NEast this week, in case you missed it.
A Philadelphia police officer who lives in the Northeast was charged with beating his fiancee. Talib Muhammad, 44, was found driving on I-95 near South Philadelphia with two handguns after he reportedly struck his fiancee in the face with a gun around 10 p.m. Tuesday. The 13-year veteranwas charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and possessing an instrument of crime. Muhammad has been suspended for 30 days with the intent to dismiss.

Tonight and tomorrow night, Johnnie’s Italian Restaurant in Wissinoming will host a fundraising dinner for the survivors of the city’s slain police officers.
The dinner was postponed following the death of Officer Pawlowski, and then extended to include a second night.
Dinners include a five-course meal for $30, served by Philadelphia police commanders.

There will be a community mass for fallen police officer John Pawlowski tonight at St. Anselm’s Church in Parkwood at 7:30 p.m.
Officer Pawlowski responded to a call about a fight near Broad Street and Olney Avenue early Friday night, and was shot multiple times. He was taken to Einstein Medical Center where he later died.
Officer Pawlowski, 25, is the sixth officer killed in the last two years. He leaves behind his wife and his unborn child.
