The 7th District has experiences a spike in hub cap thefts. In the past 2 days, there have been 15 hub cap thefts. The areas affected are from Red Lion Road south to Woodward street, and the Blvd to Bustleton Avenue. Call 911 if you observe suspicious activity around any vehicle. DO NOT TAKE ANY ACTION, outside of calling 911 with a good description.

Police are investigating a stabbing that left one man dead and others injured yesterday afternoon.

Authorities were called to Evergreen apartments on the 2300-block of Woodward Street around 2 p.m. Thursday, where a man in his 50s had been stabbed. The man died at the scene, while the other victims were taken to Aria Health Torresdale for treatment of their wounds.
